The guided tour at Leskelä Grandma´s Horse Farm offers families a peaceful and relaxing day in an authentic traditional countryside setting with stories dating back to the 1600s. Today, the farm is Grandma Leskelä's own kingdom, where she cares for rescue animals and her animal friends enjoying their quiet retirement days. During the summer, the farm also features a summer café and a warm-hearted petting zoo.
How it all began...
"Once upon a time, there was a girl who read horse books all night and dreamed of having her own horse. A noble black steed to gallop along the seashore. The girl also loved cats, dogs, sheep, chickens, pigs, and generally all furry creatures, hoping one day to own half a kingdom filled with all the cute animals. Of course, she also dreamed of the prince of her dreams. The girl grew older, found her prince, and almost became a grandma when she remembered her childhood dream again. Together with her prince, she acquired half a kingdom, which was an old, dilapidated house that looked almost like a castle to grandma's poor eyesight, and a fine royal stable, which was also an old stone barn. In addition, she found a noble steed, the world's cutest little pony, and two chickens, and began to fulfill her dream..."
The Private Grandma's Stable Day - Family Package includes a guided tour of the farm, supervised pony care, and either a pony cart ride or lead-rein riding for children. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to pet and feed other animals on the farm and hear interesting stories from times past.
Duration: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM (2 hours) daily
Price: Family ticket €60.00 (1-2 adults and 1-3 children). Additional persons €5.00 per person.
